Hi, Eddy:
Sorry that didn't work for you.
I don't have any other suggestions other than if you have not done so already, start a new thread in the notebook audio section and maybe someone else will be able to help you out.

Hi Paul,
had some question and its still about the sounds problem,
last night my audio device is working like usual, checked in device manager and found my device hardware using "High Definition Audio Device" thanks GOD its detected finally..
and... the problems coming again this morning;
i got an X mark on my speaker and it says that "the audio service is not running" just now i go to the "services" and found that "windows audio" not started... and now i did start the service and showed another notification : " there is no audio output installed"
maybe you got suggestion like; what manufacturer that comes with the sound device? so i can manualy add the hardware maybe... hiks....
many thanks and sorry for my broken lang...
^_^
its done.... all sounds works now..... just last small question.... above of my kerboard there is some button like touch censor (no idea) for mute and volume with blue colour ( its functional mute/unmute but the colour didnt changes to red/orange like ussual and the volume didnt go higher (the light)
many thanks and sorry for my broken lang...

Hi:
According to the driver page for the v3000 it has the Conexant High-Definition Audio chip.
Maybe you can try this driver and see if it works better.
It is possible that the volume/mute button isn't working because the sound card has a problem.
I think it is always orange when muted or not working.
Paul
