I've similar notebook 9470 with the BIOS locked with a password. I can on enter the bios as guest. Is there anyway to break the reset the password or bios. I try removing the CMOS battery. But it didn't help.

Anyone, can advise.

Hi David. Thanx for quick respons. I just found the tool for generating passwords and made my own password. It's similar to the one you provided 🙂

I also just talked to the norwegian HP Support, and they wouldn't help me because my computer's garantee expired a couple of months ago.
