bios lock out

when i power on,  enter password window automatically comes up.   bought laptop used and i have no way to get back in contact from who i had bought it from.  its a hp15-bk020wm.   i tried to enter wrong password 3 times to get code .  when i go to link to give me a reset code nothing happens and i get same results.   i paid a good penny for this laptop to be locked out.   can someone give me a good idea of what to do?

Could you post the system disabled code *here* in the forum so that I or somebody else provides you with the options based on this code ?  Post everything, the entire code - numbers, letters, prefix, etc...

THE CODE I HAVE RECEIVED IS 40959214.   NOW IVE TRIED OTHER CODES THAT IVE SEEN ON LINE AND WHEN I HIT A NUMBER KEY AN ALARM BEAP GOES OFF

Thank you for your reply.

Do you only see this number 40950214 , or the code changes with every restart/attempt ?

Do you see any prefix before it , like letters i , l ?

If the code does not change and if there are no prefixes, you need to enter  55631830  in response to the provided code. Hit [ENTER] eventually and your BIOS will be reset, security settings, too and you will enter BIOS. Or you may use the 55631830 code instead of BIOS password.
