Your noteboook will accept a  maximum of 8 GB. If your operating system is 64-bit then upgrading to 8GB can be worthwhile, but if your OS is 32-bit then only @-.26 Gb will be recognized by the operating system. Only purchase guaranteed compatible memory modules from a well know Memory manufacturer to avoid experiencing the disappointment of the upgrade not working.

The following configurations will work. If you choose to use a two module configuration be sure to purchase only identical modules,

8192-MB total system memory
(4096 × 2, dual-channel)
■ 4096-MB total system memory
(2048 × 2, dual-channel)
■ 4096-MB total system memory
(4096 × 1)
