I know this is not about the same issue. But what is going on with your switchable graphics? There is 1000's of people that have upgraded to windows 8 and have the same problem. They can't get there AMD radeon to work. I haven't heard one single statement from HP about this issue. 

 

A media notebook is useless without the proper drivers to run the always changing games and so on. Hp is Terrible on upgrading their graphic drivers.

 

My computer is basically a $1200 paper weight. I don't really know what to say at this point. I don't think HP is ever come out with a solution to this issue.

Hello I am so much unhappy with the hp service .since i dint a response from their side for my issue in the laptop. i'm having a charing problem in my newly purchased G6-2016TX notebook. i contacted hp service in my town several times and dint get the solution for my problem yet..so the readers of tis message can help me to get solution for my problem Hope i ll get a solution soon With regards,

i was submit my hpG4 laptop - SL No. 5CD1342YNW with adaptor. in 21-02.2013 but this service centre can not give any response about my laptop. they are taken onside appointment for laptop repairing but no one are down in my address as well as they cant any information about absent.

 

my laptop battery and some driver not working.

This is really painful to write all this. The story starts when I face heating problem in my laptop and sometimes my laptop fan made noise as well.  I have a HP PAVILION DV6 Model. I went to the authorised service centre in Saltlake Kolkata

They took my laptop done servicing (which I didnt ask them to do). After 3 days they returned my laptop. I went back to my home and got surprised that the problem still exist. After two days I went back to them again as there were weekend in between. I deposited my laptop again they said they will call me. But they didnt call me I called them each day to confirm what happened. They said there is some problem with the fan so they need to replace it and for that again I have to submit some money in advance. Also they dont even have the quotation which will come in 4 or 5 days after that I will have to come and submit the money and they within a week they will make my laptop ready. After hearing this I decided lets go and have my laptop because I had a presentation and also I need it urgently to make slides and all. I went to their centre which takes approx. 1.30 hours to reach. They showed my laptop and now my laptop is not even starting "what the hell". They 1000 -2000 money. Then only they will repair my laptop. They already took 850 bucks from me for their  servicing. It is too much I cant take any more of their excuses.  I really want some solution from HP for this.
