as the builtin speaker is not audible enough, i want to connect single external speaker with a combo jack to the 2 audio ports in HP pavilion dv6 laptop. which of the two ports can i connect the single jack of external speaker?

Hi,

There are a lots of different DV6 series and even more models,

So for example we can take the DV6 7000 series

You need to attach the external speakers to the Headphone jack for sound. The other jack is for microphone. You should be able to see the symbol next to the jack
