Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

When downloading large amounts to a small hard drive,i have a 64g mini card i can use. But not sure if after inserting do i have to anything or the contined download automaticly continue onto the memory card. Example: these recent cumulative win. 10 update are lage .And once if i use a a mine card do I have to leave it in when opeating the notebook.

Hi,

Once the updates are installed you can remove the card. I would use a large capacity sd card or mini usb drive to save all your personal files such as fotos, music etc... to free space on your system.

 

Also perform a disk cleanup to create space and eliminate all old updates which might still be on drive. Here is how you can do this:

Press WindowsKey + R and type cleanmgr

 

Choose the c: drive and wait for calculation, next click on cleanup system files in the lower left corner of window and wait for calculation. Checkmark all the files to remove such as updates, temporary files, past editions of windows etc... and click on ok and delete the files.
