Product: HP Pavilion 15 Notebook PC
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

Failed microsoft upde kb3172729 important!I hear that in some computers it doesn't download.I know its microsoft hardware but is it possible it might be an hp problem?

I highly doubt is a problem specific to HP.

 

Did you try the standalone installer?  If not, you may want to.
