Hi

My daughter has a G56 100SA laptop. It will not boot from the cd drive so I want to check the BIOS settings but I don't know what key to press to access the BIOS

Can anyone help? I have tried F2, F6, F10 and DEL

Hi Tony,

Try tapping away at f10 as soon as you press the power button.  Alternatively, you could also try tapping away at the esc key as soon as you start the notebook to enter the Start-up Menu, then select f10 to enter the Bios Menu.

Thanks for the reply. It was the ESC key on her laptop.

The boot order was hard drive before CD, all sorted now!
