Still no solution?

You guys should report the problem to AMD here:{Content Removed}

The more of us that do it the quicker they will come up with a solution.

an you give a clue how you did this easily?

I did so using link above (thanks). filling in not too difficult.

Good idea to report to AMD.

This was one of the first things I did the end of last month when first encountering the problem.

My only concern is the AMD fault registration process seems skewed towards later high end gaming graphics solutions.

Hopefully someone in HP will give AMD a nudge to look at their legacy (our) stuff as well.

Old posting and not a solution... don't know why people make false claims and repeat failed resolutions. AMD and HP have not resolved HDMI issue. Catalyst fails to produce remedy as described by AMD. Wait for HP to update AMD drivers or switch back to WIn 7 if you need HDMI from your laptop. I see no effort from HP or AMD to acknowledge problem let alone offer an ETA  for a remedy.

It worked for me. That post was made today, btw. HP made the AMD driver package available within the last couple of days.

Sucks for you I guess.

In addition to HDMI working as it should, I don't have the spike in CPU and disk usage I did before (this package includes the AMD chipset drivers as well.)

Enjoy your lack of ability to extend displays, "ken."

Maybe the key element is in your first statement..."If you've checked the HP site for the latest drivers for your laptop model, you may have noticed that AMD drivers have been added."

Checked and they haven't issued newer drivers. I think that is what everyone who is posting here is complaining about? Your solution is relevant (you saw new drivers for your machine) for you but your problem isn't what everyone here is experiencing.... NO UPDATED DRIVERS. If there were updated drivers at HP, no one here would probably be searching for them. That's why so many here are pleading for a solution that is relevant to THIS problem. No updated drivers.

Does that make sense? No sarcasim implied... Drivers and an updated Catalyst posted  via HP Update/WIndows Update/AMD Update. ANything, the rest of us are waiting for one of these three to address and resolve the issue.

You misunderstood what I said. The drivers are actually the same version AMD released a couple of weeks prior to the release of W10. They were made for the W10 Technical Preview.

So you won't see a new version. They are actually an older version than the newest ones, but they work, and unlike the Omega drivers, they are compatible with W10. The version is 15.200.1055.0 and the driver date is 2015-07-06.

However, unlike the package from the AMD site, this package includes "OEM profile" along with the AMD chipset.

It works. I assure you. Give it a try.

Uninstall your current version using DDU in safe mode, and then install the driver in that link from HP's website.

Fair enough response, but AMD Catalyst, HP, or Microsoft should be managing this remove and replace process... never tried DDU before. Your SP drivers are machine specific and aren't mine but I  get the idea. Thanks!
