What is the problem with it ? I did try to disable once and had to rebuild my machine.  Please read the following documents

HP Recommended

HP Sure Start is an embedded security controller designed to self-heal the BIOS should it become corrupted or by attacked with malware... It is always there and there should be no need to disable its operation... Can you explain why are you looking to turn it off?
