how do I enter Bios have tried tapping f9, f10 and esc on reboot but always just goes straight to sign-in screen without visibly going through start-up script. I want to run a hard disk wipe so can send notebook to recyclers

Hi,

 

Shut down the notebook by holding down the left Shift key as you click on Shutdown to temporarily prevent a hybrid boot.

 

Tap away at the esc key as soon as you press the power button to see if this will launch the Start-up Menu.  If it does, select f10 to enter the bios menu.
