please tell me how to decrease the sensitivity of this mouse?? it jumps from everywhere to everywhere !!! i tried to lower it in control pannel hardware settings !!! one option was the synaptics and other one "other pointing devices". i chandes the speed but no effect !!! using win 8.1!!

Try / Consider: 

Adjust the delay sense on the TouchPad, adjust the sensitivity level and active "touch" area

 

Method One:

 

Start Screen > type anywhere > PC Settings >
Click to start PC Settings (/ Right Click to Pin program to Start Screen) >

PC Settings > PC and Devices > Mouse and TouchPad >>  
Adjust "TouchPad" delay settings as desired

Method Two:

 

Depending on your computer model, and Synaptics driver type and version, the following may help.

 

Assumes latest HP / Synaptics driver installed as available for your Product and OS version.

 

Examples show Synaptics version 17.0.8 - HP Envy 17t Quad - Windows 8.1
