HP ENVY laptop    how to highlight text or message using the HP single  touchpad>I want to select words or phrases ,then copy(CTL C),then CTL V to paste?

Just press down on the touch pad and swipe across to highlight

What worked gor me was to press down with a finger on my left hand and swipe across with a finger on my right hand.
