Product: hp 17-x173dx
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

How do I upgrade my new hp 17-x173dx laptop to an ssd when the underside doesn't seem to have any simple way of opening it? There are no quick doors to open. Please provide me with detailed instruction to open underside.

Hi,

 

It does not have any door. Please use page 41 on the second last manual on the following link:

 

            https://support.hp.com/in-en/product/hp-17-x100-notebook-pc/12499468/manuals

 

Note: This work is for Authorized Service Provider parts only. Doing it yourself may void warranty if something went wrong due to this upgrade.
