Hello everybody,
I have hp elitebook 8540w which stuck on the logo screen with this text below "press the esc key for startup menu"
its seems that something won't wrong with bios, so i tried to recover the bios with usb stick method and win + B key
my new problem is that when I press the power after pressing win + B a flashlight come from the middle of
the touch panel which is located infront of the keyboard under the screen, it contains Letter "A"
and on the left of the letter a pic for a lock, what this flashlight mean?

Hello @Alghzawi,
To get your issue more exposure I would suggest posting it in the commercial forums since this is a commercial product. You can do this at Commercial Forums.
Even though this is a Commercial product, I found that the system is telling you that the Caps lock is on.
I recommend to restore the BIOS defaults. You could restore the BIOS with this document selecting the reloading the BIOS default settings. This will restore all functions back to factory default settings.
You could try performing a hard reset.
When performing a hard reset please note remove any and all USB devices. Disconnect all non-essential devices.
Here is a link to computer won't start for Windows.
Do you hear the Fans? If yes, try to connect to a monitor to see what happens.
Here is a Video that might help. It shows you how to reseat the HDD, which sometimes helps
Thanks.
