MY HP laptop has a problem.  The DVD reader/writer has stopped working.

 

hp DVD A  DS8A8SH SATA CdRom Device

 

A code 19 error regarding a registery error.

 

I have use CCleaner for the registry error and have reinstalled the driver, but neither has fixed the problem.

 

Can someone help please?

Hi,

 

Try following the procedure under the sub-heading 'Manually fix corrupted registry entries' on the link below to remove the Upper and Lower filters and see if this helps the issue.
