No internet access while connecting modem through usb ports.
The following devices are also missing: Mass storage controller, PCI simple communication controller, and other unknown device.
Problem started after I had installed a programme and used it for sometime.

Hi:
The mass storage controller is your card reader.
Here is the driver for that.
Please click on your other missing devices in the device manager. Then click on the details tab. In the Properties drop down list, select the second item (Hardware ID's). Post the top string of characters you see. Those will let me know what model device is missing and I can send you the link to the drivers.

The above is all I got in the Hardware Id with the bolted one being the first.Thanks.

Look professor!
The first two missing drivers are now fixed. The last one "unknown device" which I send you the last hardware Id is still missing. That is great. I need now to test the internet now!
