i have an hp mini 210 i bought used for ny daughter.i restored it to far back and now it wants a password from the original owner who's number i dont have any longer.this is on the start up windows screen.i guess that would be the administrative password..it has a reset password to click on but when i do it ask for a floppy disk or flash drive..when i install a flash drive it still says same thing..It even gives a hint but i cant seem to guess it right..i appreciate any help  thanks

Hi

 

You have 2 option call the previous owner and check for the password. Or you can use the F11 option and run a recovery and start from fresh. If F11 option does not work you might have to call HP Technical support and order for the recovery disc.

You can even refer the first 3 options.
