Hi:
Your notebook originally came with Windows 8, so the only recovery media you can get would be for W8.

Your laptop came with Windows 8 64 bit from factory. Not Windows 7.
Perform extensive hard drive and memory tests from System Diagnostics by tapping F2 or ESC key as soon as you power on laptop to rule out hard ware issue since your laptop crashed.
Then, either:
Please order HP Recovery discs from here: http://computersurgeons.com/p-23045-windows-8-64-bit-recovery-kit-708592-001-for-hp-envy-notebook-pc...
Or do a clean install of Windows 8.1 64 bit Single Language by creating UEFI bootable installation USB using Microsoft windows media creation tool:
https://www.eightforums.com/tutorials/18309-windows-8-windows-8-1-iso-download-create.html
Disable secure boot before booting into bootable installation USB.
https://www.eightforums.com/tutorials/2299-clean-install-windows-8-a.html
Windows will be automatically activated after installation while connected to internet
Additional drivers from here:
