HP Notebook 14
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello Members of the HP Community. Im new here! I been looking everywhere for the possible solution to my computer. I dont really want to take it to a pc specialist just yet. I have this old HP Notebook 14 (2014) i3 processor and Intel HD Graphics Chipset.

It's poor for gaming. But anyways does anyone know how to fix a wireless network problem.

I tried troubleshooting it (doesnt work)  and I have tried to USB tether it and it works with the USB tether but I prefer to use wireless. I did get the computer second hand and it was completely fine besides a faulty battery and fiddly charging port.

Any ideas/suggestions? I'm really stuck.

Thank you if you have read this all the way down 🙂

It will help greatly if you look at the bottom of the notebook in the tiny print for the ProdID. That is the same as the product number and it will enable us to determine the configuration of the notebook.

You should also see the Radio model and FCC ID. Kindly post that information here in your thread.

The quick workaround is to purchase a USB wireless dongle to plug into an unused USB port. They are small, cheap and they work quite well. See the link below this sentence for examples.
