laptop says driver is not available when trying to connect the printer

HP Recommended
HP Office jet Pro 6960

when trying to connect the printer to the laptop it comes up as driver is not available and does not let me print

In order that I may provide you with an accurate solution, I will need a few more details and I would appreciate if you could, perhaps elaborate on your concern.

 

  • When was the last time the printer was working fine?
  • What is the operating system you are using?
  • How is the printer connected to PC? (USB/Wireless)
  • Have you made any software or hardware changes on the computer?
  • Have you performed any troubleshooting steps before posting?

 

Meanwhile, I recommend you to download and install the driver for your printer from the below link.
