hello guys, i have an i3 hp pavilion dv6 laptop that wont boot. when i plug in the ac adaptor, i do not see the LED lights same when i use the battery. there is no power at all to the motherboard so i removed the jack and replaced it with a new one still the same problem.
a friend told me it could be the fuse on the board which is bad so i tried looking for it but can't find it. so please if anyone have an idea of where to find the fuse on the board please let me know. thanks

There's no fuse. It is all printed circuits. If replacing the AC jack module does not work it is the motherboard itself that needs to be replaced.
