I am travelling (long-term) right now, and I have a problem with my notebook computer. I've contacted HP (technical support, online chat help, by phone in two different countries...) numerous times, and they are aware of the problem with my computer. However, I'm not willing to mail my computer back to North America so that it can be fixed. I'll have it fixed in Germany while I'm here, even if I must pay. But in order to not void my warranty, I need to know, how can I find an official HP service center in Germany? I'm in Dresden (post code 01099) so as close as possible would be ideal.
Just for the record, I've asked this exact question about 4 times to various HP representatives over phone and in chat, in two different countries. None of them has been able to help me, although one of them tried her best.
I'd be so grateful for your assistance!!

This is a user to user forum, just so you know, if HP cannot answer that question, who can?
If you can read german, use this HP warranty portal

Thanks for your reply.
Unfortunately I do not understand enough German to contact HP through their German site. The UK office gave me the phone number for the German HP offices, telling me "yes, they speak English"... but they don't. I've called twice and asked if they speak English and both times they have told me in German "no, this is the German hotline." I asked as best as I could for a list of service centers in Germany, but the woman said unfortunately they won't provide that information.
If there is anyone here who is living in Germany, or understands German enough to help me out, I would be massively grateful! I'm at a dead end...
