Hi:

Below is the link to the driver you need for the hardware ID of PCI\VEN_168C&DEV_0036:

http://h20566.www2.hp.com/portal/site/hpsc/template.PAGE/public/psi/swdDetails/?spf_p.tpst=swdMain&s...

I would need to know the full model number of your HP 2000 in order to help you with the other drivers.

I also need to know what operating system you are running and whether or not it is a 32 or 64 bit OS.

You're very welcome.

Since you installed W7 32 bit, it is harder to get you the drivers.

So... see if these work.

First install this driver and reboot, and it should install the smbus controller.

Install the second driver on the list.

Hi:

I should be able to help you get the W7 x64 drivers for your 2000-2b10NR.

First, install the amd chipset driver and reboot. You want the first file on the webpage.

That will install the smbus controller.

http://support.amd.com/en-us/download/chipset?os=Windows 7 - 64

You should be able to use all of the drivers and software from this HP 2000 model, except the wireless.

DO NOT USE ANY BIOS OR FIRMWARE DOWNLOADS FROM THIS LINK

If you need the graphics driver, this is the one you need.

Hi:

I need to know what model PC and what operating system you need the driver for the hardware ID of PCI\VEN_168C&DEV_0036.

There are several variations of drivers for the Atheros wireless card.

Older drivers don't work in new HP notebooks and the drivers for the new HP notebooks don't work in older HP notebooks with that wireless adapter.

But if that is all you needed to know, then go to your notebook's support and driver page, download and install the driver for the Atheros wireless network adapter.
