Microsoft Windows 8.1 (32-bit)

As the title only number keys working above the letters are 5,6 tried hard re sets driver installs pressed f2 and did a key test and they pass. Anyone have any sujestions or ideas before i take it in to be looked at?

I came across your post about the Notebook, and wanted to assist you! I have looked into your issue about your HP Pavilion g6 Notebook and issue with the keyboard not working correctly. You can resolve this issue by checking the keyboard language.

 

Here is a link to uninstall the keyboard. Restart the computer after uninstalling, it should reinstall automatically. This has helped others.

 

Here is a link to keyboard troubleshooting.

Cheers for the reply, tried the sujested above with no joy. Taken back to retailer who have taken it in under the shop warranty.
