I have a Hp deskjet printer 3540

I am able to print

but not able to copy & scan

Hi,

Try reinstalling the updated drivers for your printer from here:

HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 3540 e-All-in-One Printer series Full Feature Software and Drivers
