I want to upgrade my hp's processor, I have the M2N68-LA (Narra6) motherboard. Now, I read the system specs here already:
http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c01925534
the above link does have a typo about the memory, so I want to clarify what processor I can put in it so I don't waste money. I was looking at an:
AMD phenom II-X4 960T Black Edition CPU/3.0GHz/6MB/Soket AM3/95W
but I am not sure of the compatibilty... Could I get a list of amd quad cores that this board supports?
Thanks!

Hi,
The board clearly says:
Motherboard supports the following processor upgrades:
Socket type: AM3
TDP: 95 watt
- AMD Phenom II X4 9xx/9xxe/8xx Quad-Core (Deneb)
- AMD Phenom II X3 7xx/7xxe Triple-Core (Heka)
- AMD Phenom II X2 5xx (Callisto)
- AMD II Athlon X4 6xx/6xxe (Propus)
- AMD II Athlon X3 4xx/4xxe (Rana)
- AMD II Athlon X2 2xx/2xxe (Regor)
- AMD Sempron 1xx (Sargas)
And the "AMD phenom II-X4 960T Black Edition CPU" says: it is the Zosma processor. You need to check the BIOS first.
Regards.

Hi,
Unfortunately there is nothing in the bios interface that will show you a list of compatible cpus - however there is a 'whitelist' of component ids coded into the bios and only the processors @banhien has listed will function.
Anything else, including 'Black Editions' will just throw out an 'Unsupported CPU' error when the machine is started.
For reference, see the thread on the following link which also uses this System Board.
