The number provided is an HP part number which could be any number of items.

Do you get an error code with this? Does this happen while you are using it or on start up? Give these steps a try and see if this system fan document helps at all.

What advise can anyone give?  I hear the fan and can blow out the vents but after that I am limited on my actions.  I am living in rural Mozambique in Southern Africa with no repairs centers available.  What are easy fixes I can do?
