Hi,

i faced a problem while creating a recovery image in my laptop and the problem is that....

i created it i.e. recovery image in a 32gb pendrive and i deleted my previous copy of my windows 8 which was from the begining in my harddrive... i upgraded my OS from windows 8 to 8.1 and finally 10... and then i decided to create a recovery image so that i can restore my laptop. i also made a copy of that recovery image from my pendrive to my harddrive of laptop... and now when i try to restore my laptop to factory settings deleting all my c: files it says this image is not valid... what should i do???

suggestions please as soon as possible

Attempting to Refresh or Reset Windows  With NoRecovery Partition. The procedure is to open the Charms menu, select Settings > Change PC Settings, tap Update and Recovery, and then select Refresh your PC without affecting your files or Remove everything and reinstall Windows

Secon you can restore you PC from recovery image you have on your pen drive, go to settings/recovery/ advanced start up  then rebooted choose recovery system image and follow precedures to do it.

or you can try a trick, go in to you usb and share the main image folder, choose yourself and then restoring image use option on network location enter url of your share (\\your-computer\sharename) user name password and it should work

ok i didnt pay attention that you can get up to choose you system image but you get error image is not valid, it could be corrupted image, renamed folder or altered in other way. You can google how to fix your problem creating vhd disk and moving image files to it and recover form it, or how to fix recovery image i did see a video fixing win 7 recovery image with powwe iso software.
