Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

Hi,

 

First of all I am greatly dissapointed with HP products as the mode of service and service center people are not reliable in India (Iqor global service ) in Bangalore. I have ordered twice recovery media from HP for windows 8.1 version 64bit dvd but I am getting same error as below AFTER 59% WITH THE SECOND DVD:

 

COPY FAILED

 

E:\PRELOAD\BASE28.SWM

 

Z:\RM\IMAGE\BASE28.SWM

 

I do not know how this call center is working as every time they are asking me to visit service center and those guys are worst ones and need only money. I have already spent 15k for this issue as i have changed the HDD. I am 100% dissatisfied with HP products and will never advise anyone to purchase their products as they are very worst in quality. Looking for a solution with this issue if anyone can help will appreciate.

Hi:

 

The only suggestion I can offer would be to try clean installing W8.1 by reading the info at the link below.

 

You want Option 1.

Then go to your notebook's support page to install the drivers and available software you need.
