After entering the wrong password a few times did you get a 'System Disabled' message or similiar with a 5 digit code ? What's the code number?

Don.

There are no master password generators for ProBooks or EliteBooks and most business class laptops.

You will need to contact HP.

Or look at this link.

Or replace the BIOS chip.

Is there any way to get into DOS to delete the password?

HP Recommended

You'll have to try one of the other methods that  REO51ST suggested in his post.

Replace the BIOS chip.

BIOS Chips

Or try the BIOS Reset Utility.

Or contact HP

I have tried removing the laptop battery and the CMOS battery 3 or 4 times. I leave them out for over an hour sometimes. It still prompts for a password. I have tried to reflash the BIOS but it ask for a password before it will do that. There has to be a way to get rid of the password. I need to get rid of it so I can get to the boot menu.
