hp spectre x360
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

I have an HP Spectre x360 (13-4009TU). I have been trying to use screen mirroring on my Sony Bravia TV kd-65x8500c. When I use the screen mirroring option on the TV and try to connect the laptop, both devices seem to recognize each other but eventually connection fails.

I have tried it multiple times.

Can you please help

Would really appreciate your help.

Thanks

Umair

Hi @ukx360,

Thank you for visiting the HP Forums! A great place where you can find solutions for your issues with help from the community!

I came across your post about the Notebook, and wanted to assist you! I have looked into your issue about your HP Spectre x360 and needing to mirror from your Sony Bravia TV the contents of the Notebook. You need to turn on Network Discovery. Here is a link that shows you how to do that, which might work.

Here is a link that shows you how to add a device like the Sony Bravia TV to your Notebook but you will need to connect with the HDMI connection as your Notebook does not support the Mirror casting.

Here is an explanation of Miracast from Wikipedia.

Please let me know how this goes.

Is there any wireless solution for me to display my laptop screen onto my TV?

Thanks

Hey @ukx360,

No sorry not that I know of, I don't really know about other product. But your tv should do all of that really.

You are connecting your TV to the Wireless and you could see netflix and Youtube.

Thanks.
