Hi,

I was using cooling pad on my laptop and suddenly the cooling pad is not working anymore and I forget to disconnect the USB connector on it. After a few days everytime I open my laptop a message will appear that the cooling pad is not working and I need to remove it or I have to log on to this site to ask for assistance. I already remove the connector of the cooling pad to my laptop but still the message is still appearing everytime I open my laptop. What should I do? Please advice. Is it healthy for the laptop to use a cooling pad? Also advice. Thank you so much.

I have a hp pavilion g series pc and it was bought new with Windows 7 Home Premium installed. I later ran it because it got infected and replaced it with Windows 7 Ultimare.  It updates ebery now and then from the windows website. Now I am seeing message at the right hand corner of my screen saying windows 7 build 7601. This copy is of windows not genuine and a pop up message saying I am a victim of counterfeit software. How do I get rid of this message?

And yesterday, while watching movie I accidently pressed a button, and a black screen appeared saying ''Boot device not found'' ''Please install an OS on your hard disk''
Hard disk (3F0). So, can you please help me out solving this error. Thanx.

Hello Bodhipriyo.

This error means that your computer is having a hard time recognizing the hard drive.  It could possibly mean that the hard drive is dead.  You should run the hard drive diagnostic and report the result.  Here are the steps

Also, what is your computer's product number?  This document can show you where it is located.

Have a great day.

Hello clemrose22.

First, try cleaning the cooling vents for your computer as per this document.  You should then perform a hard reset.  Here are the steps.

  1. Ensure the notebook is powered off.
  2. Remove the battery and AC power.
  3. Press and hold the power button for 10-15 seconds three times.
  4. Replace the battery and AC power.
  5. Attempt to boot the notebook.

If this doesn't resolve the issue you likely need to replace the fan.  What is your product number?  This document can show you were it is located.

Have a great day!

Hi. Pls when I opened my notebook pc hp 635, I got a message to visit the address above. Then in an attempt to follow some information got on this forum I discovered dat all the keys on the keyboard were not functioning. Pls what can I do?

Hello Adet.

Just to confirm, you're unable to enter the BIOS by pressing the F10 key during boot because NO KEYS work on your keyboard?

Have a great day.

Hello MUslim1234.

Does the computer give you that error when you turn it on or do you get the error when performing the hard drive test?  Here is a link with steps on performing the hard drive test.

What is your product number?  This document can show you where it is located.

Have a great day.
