Hello JesusR. I understand you've gotten the 90B error.
This normally means that the main cooling fan of the notebook has stopped working and needs to be replaced. However, there are a few things you can try. First, try hard resetting the notebook. Here are the directions.
- Ensure the notebook is completely shut down.
- Remove the battery and AC power.
- Press and hold the power button for 10-15 seconds three times.
- Replace the battery and AC power.
- Boot notebook and verify whether the problem persists.
You should also ensure the vents of the notebook are free of dust and debris by following these directions.
If this doesn't help you will most likely need to replace the fan. I can provide you with information about the repair as well as part information if you provide me with your product number. This document can show you where the product number is located.
You could also speak with HP Support about the issue if you're either in warranty (you can check here) or don't want to perform the repair yourself. The number for US/Canadian customers is 1-800-474-6836. If you live in another part of the world you'll need to visit HP Support Worldwide to get your region's contact information.
Have a great day!

Getting an error message that there is no hard disk detected. "Hard Disk Not Exist"
"Hard Disk Test" Failed
"Boot device not found" (3F0)
When I hit F1 for system info, here's some basic data:
Model HP 671 Notebook PC
Product # VR 757U#ABA
Serial # {Removed for privacy}
There's lots of other info too. Runs Windows 7.
Basically, it looks like my hard disk has crashed and it's not being recognized. Nothing unusual happened (we didn't drop it or do anything else that would have caused this)
Thanks for any help

Hello hrh313. I understand you're getting an error about your hard disk not existing.
You're going to need to replace that hard drive. You should be able to purchase the part through HP Part Surfer.
If the notebook is in warranty you need to contact HP Support directly. You can check your warranty here. The number for US/Canadian customers is 1-800-474-6836. If you're in another part of the world you'll need to visit HP Support Worldwide to get your region's contact information.
Have a good day!

Hello ah-majd. I understand you're getting the 3F0 error.
Your hard drive has most likely died and needs to be replaced. What is the product number of your notebook? This document can show you where it is located.
You should go ahead and run the hard drive diagnostic to confirm that the hard drive is failing. This document has instructions for performing the diagnostic.
Have a good day!
