hp spectre x2 detachable
Microsoft Windows 8 (64-bit)

The detachable keyboard is not working properly. the top 3 rows arent working properly. When i try to type r it appears as 4rg and so on.

I suggest you to run the keyboard test in the F2 diagnostics.

 

At the power up, press the F2 button when you see the HP logo on the screen.

 

This will take you to the diagnostics page.

 

Look for component test and perform the Keyboard test.

Nothing is happening when I press F2. It goes on to the password prompt
