stream x360
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Hi,

This is my first topic in the forum :generic: .

When am trying to boot from USB flash  to install fresh copy of windows 7 for some porpuse on my hp stream x360 my hard drive can't be detcted and the hard built in with this laptop is (SDW32G) hard drive.

Then i tried to install from insde windows 8 i saw the drives but there is message says ( windows can't be installed to Disk 0) when i opened the message to see the details it says { windows needs the driver for device [intel SD Host Controller]. click load driver etc.....

i search the intenet for this driver can't find it.

 

Could anyone help me to sovle this.

Hi, you might try enabling legacy USB support and disabling secure boot in the BIOS if you have not already to boot the Windows 7 USB.

 

I am not sure how you could install Windows 7 from inside Windows 8?  This would be a downgrade which I do not think Windows would allow?

 

Also, you may have trouble finding all the drivers for Windows 7, you might consider a clean install of Windows 10 instead.
