The video softpack didn't solve the problem.

My current bios is F16. This is newest that you suggested (F14).

Thanks for performing troubleshooting steps.

 

As you mentioned that the current BIOS on your laptop is F.16. And the video drivers did not solve your problem.

 

Please try performing a system recovery and check if that helps.

Hi! @Guinplen, thanks for the response.

As you mentioned that even after updating drivers the issue still persists on your laptop.

I would suggest you try performing a system recovery from f11 and check if the issue persists.

Refer this article to know how to perform a system recovery.

 

If the issue still persists, it is a hardware issue please contact HP for service options.

Hi,

I had a similar situation with unknown devices, but i installed driver booster 3 and it installed the drivers for it. Link:

If you are unable to perform recovery from f11, Please reinstall windows using recovery discs.

 

Please contact HP and order a set of recovery discs.
