what is my imei number?

the number was printed on a sticker on the bottom of my computer but the ink has rubbed off of the sticker rendering the number unreadable. i have an HP Dv5 2132dx. i must have the number to activate my mobile broadband internet.

Hi:

It is possible the IMEI number is also on your WWAN Module inside the PC.

See Chapter 4, page 56 for the instructions to access the device.

I am not familiar with broadband software that comes with PC's.

You may also find it in there somewhere if there is a device configuration or device info menu.
