HP Pavilion15 n003tx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello! I am using HP P15 n003tx. I updated it from Windows 8 to Windows 10 but didn't created recovery drive. Currently my Windows 10 is activated. I have few Questions...

1) Can I create Recovery Drive Now for Windows 10? If yes, How and Which USB size I will need for the Same?

2) Can I reinstall Windows 10 from that Recovery drive? And does it require to activate windows again? I dont know my product key, In such case how can I activate windows or find product key?

3) After Creating recovery drive, can I make another copy or copy it to other USB and us it? For example if USB is corrupted and malfunctioned, or lost in such case we will need another copy?

Edit: I tried Creating recovery drive. My Notebook ask for a USB with atleast 32GB capacity. While microsoft confirms that it will require 3 to 6 GB stoarge. is ther any way to reduce the size? or I have to use 32GB USB?

I dont know if it is possible or not. Please answer all questions and any extra knowledge, tips, help will be highly appreciated... Thank You in Advance

Hi @Mukesh_Baraiya

Welcome to the HP Forums!

I appreciate you taking the time to share your concern and thank you for using this forum, it is a great place to find answers.

I reviewed your post and I understand that you have a couple of questions related to recovery.

I’d love to help!

I could like to inform you that you will not be able to create a recovery media after upgrading to Windows 10. However, you can contact phone support and they will order the recovery media for your computer.

You will not be able to make multiple copies of the recovery media.

Hope that answers your question and you have a good day ahead.
