Don't worry! We are in your corner.

I understand that your HP notebook is not working correctly. I appreciate your efforts to try and resolve the issue. The last thing I can suggest try and restore the OS back to the factory default.

The HP Cloud Recovery Tool allows you to download recovery software to a USB drive. You can use the downloaded recovery image file in order to install the Windows operating system.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.

I do not want to reset my machine. It will be a big hassle to reinstall and set it all up again. Also, If I had genuine windows 10, am I not eligible to upgrade to win 11? If so, why am I getting activation error?

Windows 11 OS updates are pushed through windows update and the computers using windows OS will get the update notification automatically.

Your getting this error due to an OS glitch, reinstalling the Windows OS will correct the issue.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.

My laptop is not not even booting. I can hear the fan but the screen is blank.
