Hey @golia ,
This part does not show in your data base, I would return the card.
Please call our technical support at 800-474-6836. If you live outside the US/Canada Region, please click the link to get the support number for your region. They will be happy to assist you immediately with the correct part to go with the Notebook.
Thanks.

Hi @golia ,
Thank you for visiting the HP Support Forums and Welcome. I have read about your HP Pavilion g6-1359el Notebook and having issues with the startup. You could reset the BIOS with this document selecting the reloading the BIOS default settings. This might make the system look at your new Wireless card.
Please note remove any and all USB devices. Disconnect all non-essential devices, as these could cause some issues.
It shows me that this Wireless card is only supported with systems using UMA Motherboard and discrete graphics.
Page 13 of your Manual shows what Wireless cards are compatible with the system.
I would need the serial number to check what you have in your system. Please review the HP Privacy Statement . Then send it to me in a private message.
Thanks.

Hey @golia ,
If the new Wireless card is Intel Centrino Wireless-N 1030 + Bluetooth (802.11b/g/n) 631956-001- Intel Centrino Wireless-N 1000 (802.11b/g/n) 593530-001- these are compatible with your system.
If it is not seeing the card, could the card be damaged?
Did you try to restore the BIOS to defaults with the new Wireless card installed?
Thanks.
