I recently updated the intel centrino driver to version 19.30.0.4 but this has no effect.

 

The integrated wlan module is calles Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7265

I understand that enabling wireless is causing a blue screen on your laptop.

 

Don't worry I'd like to help.

 

Kudos to you for trying out few steps before reaching out to us.

 

As you mentioned you have updated the wireless drivers to the latest version.

 

Have you tried updating BIOS on your PC?

 

Please update the BIOS using this link and let me know if this helps.

 

Download and install HP support assistant on your PC and check for driver updates.

 

Refer this article to know how to use HP support assistant.

 

Also, try running system diagnostics on your PC and let me know the results.
