As we approach our first anniversary of having Poly join the HP Community, this is a good time to take stock of where we are and explore our opportunities to grow and make the Poly boards the best in class. For the last 9 months, we have been orienting the poly boards to the HP Community, and there is a plethora of great work that inspires us to take the Poly boards to the next level.

 

If you’d like to learn more about what we have coming up, please read on!

 

The HP Support Community is 15+ years running, and it has an impressive library of information, including knowledge base articles and an HP Experts cohort. The Knowledge Base repository is a critical area of information where known fixes for an issue are shared. In many cases, the HP Experts – a volunteer cohort, create these knowledge base articles!

 

As the next steps, our plan is to Inform, Educate, and Support our community members and users on Poly boards. Here’s what you can expect during Summer 2024:

 

  • Knowledge Base boards for Poly Headsets, Phones, and Video Conferencing. We’ve consolidated the most frequently accessed support articles from various sources to carefully curate knowledge base articles for the Poly boards.  We’re excited about our plan to consolidate Poly touchpoints into the community platform, and it starts with adding key articles to our KB boards.

There are numerous help articles on the community forum boards – you may have seen them! Most start with [FAQ] and since they are KB article worthy, we’ll plan to convert them to the knowledge base board, so we can keep the        forums open for questions and conversation. We hope to help you soon with a KB article – give us a thumbs up if we do or leave us a Comment on what you like or how we can better help!

  • New Product Information is one of the most exciting aspects about life here at Poly, and we are passionate about bringing the right solutions to our customers.  The innovation and persona driven devices behind each new product are what moves us.  Given we have such a wide array of consumer and commercial devices, navigating our portfolio of offerings warrants dedicated space to learn about them.  That said, we look forward to sharing new product information with you in the community.  We’ll announce new products in the form of blog posts and add forum posts to provide a full rundown on the new product.  We can’t wait to share this with you!

 

  • New Software Release Information as many of you in our commercial space know, we push software updates on a regular basis.  For our consumer members, you may also have seen our software version releases to Poly Lens.  These updates are an important part of maintaining software with the latest and greatest features from Poly.  Likewise, bug fixes are also frequently delivered in version releases.  This is another important aspect of the Poly world that we look forward to sharing with you.  We’ll announce software releases in the same fashion as new product information.

As we introduce knowledge boards and announcements, you’ll see some new and familiar faces!  We look forward to interacting with you all about Poly products. 

 

In our lineup, we have:

 

  • Our support staff, who are here to assist in the forums with guidance and suggestions. 
  • Our Poly Subject Matter Expert, who has been helping through volunteerism and a passion for Poly products.  We hope to grow the expert community with folks like you who have a passion for helping/troubleshooting Poly products!
  • The Poly Knowledge Base Manager, who will post new KB articles based on data for top searches and support cases. 
  • The Poly blog author, who will keep the Poly community up to date on the latest and greatest, ranging from new product releases to other types of announcements.

With all this new stuff, you’re probably wondering when you can expect to see the KB boards and announcements.  We’re hard at work over here, making sure we have everything well planned, and that we’ve identified the areas we believe will have the best impact on our members.  We’re excited to go live in early Summer 2024, so check back soon and watch for our announcements!
