Savi 8220 M OFFICE

Since the Plantronics Hub Software is discontinued I tried to set up the Savi 8220-M DECT Office Headset within the Poly Lens Desktop Software but apparently there are less options for example there is no other language option than English (US) in the dropdown menu. Is there a way to switch to a different language?

I understand how important it is to have your headset working just the way you need it, and I’m here to help!
 

If you’re only seeing English (US) as an option, try these steps:
 

Reinstall the Poly Lens application.

Open Poly Lens and go to Settings.

Look for the Reset option, reset your headset, and then check if the language options are now available.

Hello Salman, thank you for your answer!

Unfortunately even after I reinstalled the Poly Lens application there still is no other language option than English (US). The Reset option is also not available. Maybe the headset is just no longer supported. I had hoped there might be an extra language pack for it that can be installed without the Poly Lens application.

I’m sorry to hear the issue is still continuing. To help move things forward, may I kindly request you to download the HP Poly Studio App and check if the language option is available there. Please find the link below. I’m hopeful this step will bring us closer to resolving the concern.

Thanks again for your patience and your help in finding a solution.

 

As you can see in the screenshots above I have already installed the Poly Studio App without any major changes compared to the Poly Lens App. Screenshot 2 and 3 show the available settings for the base station and the headset itself. Poly Studio won't let me change the language of the base station and for the hesadset there is still only the "English (US)" option 🤔

It appears that the language option has been discontinued for this device. We will need to wait for future updates to see if this feature is reintroduced. In the meantime, I have already forwarded your feedback regarding the language issue so it can be considered by the relevant team. I would also kindly request you to open the HP Poly Studio App and submit your feedback directly from your end as well, which will further strengthen the case.
