Root Cause:

RPM on Motorola XOOM is using HW codec which has OS level dependency on android system, and some API from android OS itself whose backward compatibility is not guaranteed by Google. So when android system have big update (API level change), RPM need do some tuning to support it.

 

Workaround:

No workaround if it is already upgraded to Android 4.1. Engineering is aware of this issue now and try to find a way to resolve it. Will keep you updated.

 

Note: Samsung Galaxy Tab with HW codec may have this issue as well if it is allowed to upgrade to Android v4.1 in future.
