Hello, 

 

Today I purchased Wilko remanufactured HP 301 black & colour inkjet cartridges. These come with a compatiblity 100% Guarantee. 

 

I followed the simple installation instructions, however upon attempting my first print, the "Used or Counterfeit Cartridge Detected" message appeared. 

 

Has HP made it impossible to override this? Or is there a way I can use this ink? 

 

I appreciate that HP would prefer customers to purchase their own branded ink, but believe it should be down to the discretion of the user as to the type of ink they wish to use. 

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
