Hello, 

 

My DeskJet 3630 is about 2 mins from going out the window, I bought an ink cartridge from Tesco and it turns out its not a HP one so does anyone know how to disable HP Printer Cartridge Protection, I have followed all steps on the web and countless youtube videos but when I get to the various sections where the disable function is supposed to be there is nothing there, has HP stopped you being able to disable this feature ? thanks.

HP Recommended

HP cartridge protection has nothing to do with using non-hp cartridges.

 

HP cartridge protection prevents working ink cartridges to be used in another printer nothing else.
