Product: HP LaserJet MFP M234dw

When I tried to install a toner cartridge, my app says it's incompatible, even though I know it is.

 

My printer came with a toner cartridge replacement when I got it, so when my first one ran out of ink, I replaced it with the new one. It did not work, and showed an error code that indicated an incompatible cartridge.

 

Obviously a cartridge that comes with the printer should be compatible, but also, when I put the old one back in, it also indicated that it was compatible, even though I've been using this printer for a while. What should I do?
