HP ENVY Photo 7155 All-in-One Printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

the printer (envy 7155) screen turned blue while it was printing, displayed a power button. Pressing it did nothing. I shut it down and turned it on again. message displayed says the cartridge displayed (black) is not communicating correctly with the printer. I have replaced the cartridge with a brand new hp cartridge (64). Same message. I have shut it down several times, unplugged several times, cleaned the contacts, checked for the latest drivers and firmware and still get the same message.

Any suggestions would be welcome

Thank you

Hi @adam041,

Welcome to the HP Support Community

I'd like to help!

I understand you are facing a cartridge communication error.

If you have already performed the steps from the document Ink cartridge errors and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.

I've sent you a private message with further instructions to get this issue sorted.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
